From Acoma Pueblo, Brian Delorme
is best known for intricately painted seed pots. He has few equals
as a pottery painter, always using traditional, natural colors
on handmade, traditional pottery.
His pots are covered with
complicated arrangements of fine-line, and other traditional
Acoma designs. He combines patterns and motifs in his own version
of tradition, sometimes incorporating impressed bear paws, etc.
as well.
