Anna & Fidel Archuleta
are a husband and wife team from the Santa Clara pueblo creating
some beautiful, clean, and deep incised redware pottery.
This particular piece features
the classic Avanyu (or water serpent) design, together with stylized
water wave symbols above - along the rim - and kiva steps interspersed.
This is a charming little
pot at a great price. We liked the high polish, the clean lines,
and the deep carving.
